The Parker County Republican Women will hold their regular monthly meeting Thursday, Jan. 8 at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m., and the meeting will begin at noon. Reservations can be made by calling Sonja Davis at 817-443-3870 or by email at email@example.com.
The speaker for January is Loren Spivack. Spivack "The Free Market Warrior,” was born and raised in Massachusetts and spent most of his adult life in New York City. Before becoming active in politics, Spivack worked for several non-profits and as a management consultant for profit and non-profit companies.
Spivack founded "Free Market Warrior" in 2009 in an effort to make a positive difference in American politics and economics.

Parker County Republican Women announce Janine and Juliette Turner as guest speakers for the December monthly meeting. Turner had previously been scheduled to speak in October but was unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances.
Janine Turner is an Emmy and three-time Golden Globe nominated actress most known for her beloved performance as Maggie O'Connell in Northern Exposure. Other memorable credits include Cliffhanger, Leave it to Beaver, Dr. T & the Women, Steel Magnolias, and Friday Night Lights. At age 16, Juliette is the bestselling author of "Our Constitution Rocks!" and has a new book titled, "Our Presidents Rock!" As a dynamic duo, the Turners mix pop culture and American history to engage citizens to get involved.

The Parker County Republican Women welcome Steve Munisteri, chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, as guest speaker at the Nov. 13 luncheon meeting at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center. The luncheon is Thursday, Oct. 9 at the Doss Heritage Center, 1400 Texas Ave. in Weatherford. Fellowship is at 11 a.m. with lunch at 11:30 and the speaker at noon.
As a single mother, Turner, inspired by her father, a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and Air Force hero, has championed the cause of preserving American principles with her foundation, Constituting America, her radio show The Janine Turner Show and as a columnist and political pundit.
She is an Emmy and three‐time Golden Globe nominated actress most known for her beloved performance as Maggie O’Connell in Northern Exposure.

Juliette Turner is the National Youth Director of Constituting America, a group founded by her mother and co-chaired with Cathy Gillespie that is dedicated to educating Americans about the founding documents.
Juliette has been able to learn from her mother’s power to prevail while sharing many of the same life interests. At age 16, her new book Our Presidents Rock! isn’t her first – she wrote the bestselling book Our Constitution Rocks! at age 14.

The guest speake is Toni Anne Dashiell, national committeewoman for Texas. Sheis a leader among leaders, who was awarded the 2009 Ronald Reagan Leadership Award by the National Federation of Republican Women for her distinctive performance as president of the Texas Federation of Republican Women. She is an empowering personality who in 2010, added women from Nigeria and Bosnia to the long list of leaders she has empowered. She traveled to Bosnia and Nigeria on behalf of the Women’s Democracy Network to train women seeking public office in campaign management, leadership development, and communication. She co-authored “Leading for Freedom: Leadership Skills for Republicans” and does workshops across the nation on the topics addressed in the book.
Toni Anne’s service as a volunteer grassroots leader dates back to 1968, when she worked on a presidential campaign as a member of Teenage Republicans. Since that time she has been a consistent leader in numerous Republican campaigns including presidential, senatorial and congressional, statewide, city and county races.

Guest speaker is Rep. Matt Krause. Krause was born in Tyler, where his father was youth pastor at Green Acres Baptist Church. He is a constitutional attorney, college professor of American history and government, and public speaker on America's Founding Fathers.
Rep. Krause is also the executive director of the Torch of Freedom Foundation, where the next generation of leaders is trained through Patriot Academy. Patriot Academy is held at the Texas Capitol and other states every summer where students learn the political process and how to make a difference in the culture whether through politics, the law, the media, or whatever area into which they have been called.
He has received an A+ rating from Empower Texans, 100% from Texas Eagle Forum, and a "Top 5" Courageous Conservative Award from Texas Conservative Coalition during his Freshman Session.
The vision of Patriot Academy is to equip a new generation of young people to become leaders in federal, state, and local governments and to help bring the nation back to the principles of liberty on which it was founded.
Its goals are to:
1. Train students to develop government policy with a conservative worldview like that of the Founding Fathers of America.

Parker County Republican Women will have as their guest speaker March 13 Loren Spivack.

His “Free Market Warrior” store was expelled from Concord Mills Mall in North Carolina in July 2009 for selling material critical of the Obama administration. Mall owners, Simon Property Group, are major Democratic donors. Since then Spivack has devoted his time to teaching conservative groups about free market economics. He conducts "Economic Literacy" seminars across the United States. Spivack has delivered his famous seminar on “Economic Literacy” to more than 200 groups in 20 states.
Spivack is also the author of “The New Democra,t” a parody history of the Obama administration, based on a famous children's book. With pitch-perfect rhyme and clever illustrations, "The New Democrat” transforms the political personalities of the times into cartoon characters in a conservative morality play.

Park Ave & Texas St. Lunch will begin being served at 11:30 a.m., and the business meeting will start at noon. The lunch and meeting are open to the public. The speaker for February has had to cancel, and the group is inviting all county Republican candidates to attend and give a brief presentation.
