A car lost control on FM-1187 around 2:30 p.m. Monday after the driver appeared to have lost control.
Cody Pope, 24, of Aledo, witnessed the accident and said the female driver of the vehicle (which also had a baby and another female passenger inside) began to swerve before she drove sideways into an open lot near the Edward Jones office, hit a wood sign and eventually flipped over.
While it was unclear at the accident scene which female occupant was driving, it is unclear about the extent of the injuries suffered. One of the women had cuts on the left cheek of her face and appeared to be bleeding from her left ear.
The Parker County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating a burglary of habitation call occurring Tuesday, Dec. 8.
Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said the incident was reported around 3 p.m. in the 100 block of Aledo Creeks Road in Aledo.
The occupant of the residence arrived home and told deputies the suspect(s) entered a rear door of the home and stole several watches, two high school rings, an undisclosed amount of currency, a 12-week-old Chihuahua puppy with its crate and a large amount of gold a diamond jewelry (necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets) and costume jewelry valued at several thousand dollars along with three televisions and a laptop computer.
